hey, i remember some of these as drawings from months ago.I'm glad to see you developed them further. Here's what i like:
the puppetmaster tree with his weird long fingers
The shapes of your clouds
the depth, color, and atmosphere of the third painting -- reminiscent of the impressionists and some of the English landscape painters.
The two suns and moon ina the night sky in the painting with the figure
The glow and reflection of the sunset in the second to last painting
in your painting i see a lot of symbolism, metaphor, and more symbolic ways of representing objects such as figures, mountains, and the sun. This is combined with more realistic depictions of subjects hat seem to based more on observation than imagination. I think it's important to think about these differnt ways that you arrive at your images and make conscious decisions to use a certain approach to achieve a certain effect or reaction from your viewer. I would be interested in hearing your analysis of these paintings and the ideas behind the

your paintings are cool. I like the tree puppetmaster best, and I also agree with sarah about the shapes of your clouds, they're really cool.
what kind of paint did you use? are they all the same kind?
yeah, theyre all acrylic paint, although i used modeling paste and a pallet knife on the third one from the top. i have to have four more done by the end of summer, so ill probably be putting up more soon.
