As many of you have heard, Misled Youth is moving into a storefront space in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn along with A New World In Our Hearts and the Freegan Bike Workshop. Our plan is to set up an art studio and screenprinting shop to create posters and t-shirts, as well as organizing community art projects and classes such as painting a 30x50 foot mural on the outer wall of our building and much more. This is an exciting opportunity for us to strengthen our creative and educational projects and engage with youth from the neighborhood and all over the city. And you can help! We’re in need of all kinds of materials including lumber, hardware, art supplies, office supplies, books, furniture, tools, and more. Please see our complete wish list for more info. Financial donations are also a big help – please make a donation if you can. Also contact us if you are interested in volunteering either to help set up in the short term or working with us on community arts and education projects in the somewhat more long term.
