I was thinking, i know we are busy witht eh space and creating new Self Edu stuff, etc etc, yet i was thinking we could add a new one. NEw York City is full of life, fun, and possiblilties, maybe we should create an urban adventure team. We dont have to stay in the city by any means, we could explore outdoors, hiking, biking, whatever. It could be like, tricks to surviving where ever you find yourself. It would self education away from being inside. Alot of the groups we want to start could even join in with this idea. The mobile art squad could do it, the writing workshop culd explore, journal the adventures, write about them etc. I love exploring areas that im unfamilure and new to, especially when im with friends.

What do you all think?

i know ive been extraordinarily lame this summer since i cant do a single thing with misled youth and my first day back i start college but i thought i´d check in anyhowww...

I think this is a cool idea, we could even have self ed meetings in those places, we could hike in fort tryon, since that's easy to get to. Also we could go to glass beach. it's an awesome idea.

i think this could be a lot of fun, we'd definately have to do this before winter though...

i haven't been to glass beach yet this year, which is incredibly lame, we should go.
other places would be great too

i love bridges and rooftops and climbin shit
i guess that's a little dangerous

anyway, what about this:
friday, august 31st will be the summer b-day party in staten island (by then everyone should be back, right?)
so either that saturday or sunday, we can go out on a trip
it can even be like a picnic, we can bring food and blankets and sketchbooks and shit
it would be especially great if a bunch of us had bikes

i would just be really happy to see everyone together

what do you guys think?

awesomeee, b-day bashhh. i love the rooftop climbing shit idea, i havent had a really good adventure in a long time, fnding good spots to just chill, but yea def before winter, the fall would be a eally pretty. Bike wise, my bike got stoled right before ileft, which is really shitty, so i have to get one as soon as possible, as does cece. ouwld love to go to the glass beach, it sounds awesome. This good be really fun. ill call you all when im back in 2 days!

so sorry about yr bike! you should build one at the freegan bike workshop, wednesdays and saturdays!

also, i got a new bike and am giving away my beat up little peugeot. CC could probably ride it, it needs a little work though. I guess i'll call her and ask her.

we'll set up the trip as soon as everyone gets back
