Thanks so much to everyone who helped make the show last night happen – everybody in misled youth, rats of nimh, the bands, and the crowd. I thought it was really positive and high energy and it came together really great just at the last minute. Last night Gabe came up to me with a huge grin and said “we are in the business of FUN!”

We made $376 at the door, so we definitely have November’s rent covered now. I think these benefit shows are starting to actually starting to be fun and build community, rather than just stressing us out. It looks like we’ll be doing at least show a month, for a while, so let’s talk about more shows in the future. One person came up to me wanting to book a show with all female-fronted bands, I think that would be really cool. Also there’s talk of a Halloween party at ceecee’s house, Punksgiving, and some kind of winter show/party. Things are looking up, 123 is slowly coming together and getting started, so let’s keep it going!
