Sarah said something about her friends with a farm upstate, i have an idea for the biggest show to date. I was thinking of a festival of sorts, kinda like plan-it x fest. A festival, that is more than one day long with camping and shit. There would be music and that kinda stuff, but there is a twist. During the day there are workshops and art and food and free time. We could invite a bunch organizations and groups that could teach and do positive fun workshops. At night the music comes on.

We could charge money to enter and you could pay by the day.IT would take a long time to organize and it may be kinda expensive, but it would certainly be worth the time and effort. IT anyone has any ideas about this project please let me know. Much love to everyone!

A weekend full of music and peer education!!! IT COULD BE THE NEXT WOODSTOCK! not reall but it could be hella fun and i know it would take a lot of time and effort, but i want to do it and i really would love the help and encouragement! I know we have a lot on our plates, let a lone trying to keep this all together, but when we are standing again, could we please talk about it?

hey gabe! Sorry for not

hey gabe! Sorry for not responding, i was kinda overwhelmed with other stuff and didn;t know what to say. I think some huge festival could be really cool and maybe a bit legendary. It also would obviously be the most stressful project we have taken on so far. I don't see it happening in the near future, i think there are so many thing closer to home that need our energy. First we need to pull our group back together, and then i'd say that developing 123 and our own shit would be the priority. In a lot of ways the festival would pull our energy from our immediate community to some place out of the city and to dozens of bands and hundreds of ppl...

I feel like if we're wanting to get out of the city for a little bit and get a fresh perspective the ppl up at the Germantown farm might welcome our core groups for a weekend. I'd definately have to ask. But it could be a really great "family' kinda thing for us.

So i'm sorry to not sound more encouraging about the festival, but it's something i don't see happening for at least 6 months to a year. It might be cool to do something on a smaller scale in the city though, maybe in a few months.
