Supporting each other is the backbone of the Misled Youth Network. Why? Because we can't work on cool projects and teach ourselves things and make a difference in the world when we're feeling depressed, isolated, hurt, or confused. So this part of the website is dedicated to helping us connect with each other, share support, and get the resources we need to stay on our feet and move forward. These are the parts:
Crisis: This is your panic button if you need help RIGHT NOW. It would refer you to resources such as suicide hotlines that can offer immediate support, and will also contain information about peoplesí (especially young peoplesí) rights in mental hospitals, lockdown facilities, prisons, etc
misGuidance: This feature allows you to share personal problems or ask for advice or to offer answers and advice to others. These questions and answers can be organized into a database that could serve as a foundation for a youth-to youth guide.
For Parents: This contains FAQís about Misled Youth, youth writing addressing parental issues, and youth-friendly resources for parents.
Personal Stories: a link to related stories in the Personal Stories section
A link to related discussion forums
Mental Health + Community Support Resources: This is a big list of websites, books, and organizations that can help you find the info and resources you need
