Hey Everybody

The forums have been redone (again... but hopefully this is the last time) and there are a few changes people should be aware of. First the bad news, then the good news...

The Bad News

1. You have to type in smileys, you can't just pick them. For example is made by typing ";" and ")". The smileys are also butt-ugly, but we can fix that eventually.

2. All replies should have titles. If you don't put a title, it'll just take the first few words from your post and turn it into a title (which is ok, but you might as well make a deliberate one).

3. You can't see all that "most people online at once" stuff that is usually at the bottom of the screen, or how many times someone looked at your thread. I think we can live without that though...

The Good News

1. Private messages work.

2. You can reply to replies, so conversations within conversations get grouped together

3. It'll be easier for admins (not that you care).

4. It's more integrated with the rest of the site (even though most of the rest of the site doesn't exist yet).

5. We managed to move everyone's posts without deleting their accounts! (Hooray!)

Basically, our site was constructed using one system (drupal) and our forums with another (phpbb) and they were kinda hacked together. Now we're just using drupal.

Oh yeah, and the URL is now misled-youth.org/forum, not misled-youth/forums, incase anyone bookmarked it.
